Hour 2: You will research the role and responsibilities of a director of photography/cinematographer on a film. You will prepare a powerpoint and provide a detailed look at one cinematographer and their work.
It may help you if for task 2 you chose the cinematographer used by the director you have researched...
E.g. Steven Spielberg works with Janusz Kaminski, Christopher Nolan works with Wally Pfister, etc.
This research will inform your 2nd film so it is important that you do it properly. You will feed back to the group at 10.30.
